What is the Indiana Wine Fair?

The Indiana Wine Fair is a wine festival held every year at Story Inn in Nashville, IN. In 2020, we'll be celebrating the 18th anniversary of this event.


Over 40 of Indiana's finest wineries, distilleries, breweries, food trucks and local farms.

Doing what?

Doling out one-ounce pours to an appreciative audience, selling wines by the glass for consumption onsite, and bottles for carry-out. It's a great chance for you to build up your wine cellar!


Saturday, May 2nd, 2020. Gates (and food court) open at 1:00pm. The vendors will pour from 1-6 p.m.

What else is happening?

Before Wine Fair, our group of independent judges will be determining the best Indiana wines in 7 categories. We'll be announcing the results of judging that evening, on this website and social media. While wineries, breweries, and distilleries are pouring samples enjoy food from local food trucks and listen to live music!

How can I get there?

Unless you have a helicopter or a horse, you must arrive by motorized vehicle. FROM NASHVILLE: The Story Inn is located 13 miles south of Nashville on State Road 135, in southern Brown County. It is a 30 minute drive from Columbus, a 45 minute drive from Bloomington, a 75 minute drive from Indianapolis, and a 90 minute drive from Cincinnati and Louisville. Parking is free. However, you may be parking on property not owned by Story Inn. Therefore, we aren't liable for any parking issues.

What will it cost me?

Your online ticket purchase will guarantee your admission on the day of the event. Designated drivers will be admitted for $10. Please click links to purchase tickets online to see our current ticket prices and promotions.

What should I bring?

Make sure you have a picture ID that proves that you are at least 21 years of age. NO ONE UNDER 21 MAY ENTER THE FESTIVAL PREMISES. Also, some guests may wish to bring folding chairs and umbrellas. We are not responsible if you leave something behind. DO NOT BRING POP-UP TENTS!

What will the Story Inn be providing?

All patrons will receive a free Story Inn wine glass keepsake, Story tote bag, map of the grounds and wristband for event entry.

What will the Story Inn NOT be providing?

Bail money. Don't drink and drive.

Can I bring my dog to Indiana Wine Fair?

Yes, but dogs must be on leashes at all times and we ask you, no beg you, to bring along a pooper scooper and waste bags for any doggie deposits made that day. Also, we ask that you only bring your pet if they get along with other dogs and all people!!!!

What happens if it rains?

All tasting will occur under cover, and the event will go on, rain or shine.

Can I bring a cooler?

No outside food or beverages will be allowed on the festival grounds. But we will have food and non-alcoholic drinks for sale along with local food trucks.
